What You Need to Know About the Court’s ADA Grievance Procedure, Notice of Rights, and Other Legal Requirements with Julie Ballinger

Join us to learn about key administrative requirements under Title II of the ADA, including the appointment and responsibilities of an ADA Coordinator, providing public notice of ADA rights, and establishing an effective ADA grievance process. This training will cover each obligation in detail and highlight best practices for successful implementation.

Julie Ballinger, M.A., is a nationally recognized leader with 38 years advancing Disability Rights. She has delivered national impact through leadership and innovation across diverse sectors. Julie directed a Center for Independent Living (CIL), a nonprofit led by people with disabilities providing community services, then became a consultant with the Southwest ADA Center (SWADAC) while employed with the University of Arkansas-providing Technical Assistance to CILs in two federal regions. For 27 years, she has continued with SWADAC, specializing in ADA training and TA on employment, government, and business/nonprofit accessibility. Over the past 9 years, she has focused on court and correctional systems, authoring comprehensive, nationally distributed ADA guides tailored to each sector.
