DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered how to make the font on your phone bigger? Would you like your iPhone to read the content out loud to you? How about learning how to set up captioning on your phone? The training session will cover the various built-in accessibility features available for iOS devices\, including iPhone\, iPad\, and AirPods. Participants will learn how individuals with vision\, hearing\, or learning disabilities can utilize these features to accommodate their needs. \nPresenter Bio:\nJesse Armijo is the AT Coordinator with the New Mexico Technology Assistance Program (NMTAP) and has been with the state agency since December\, 2014. He provides assistance with assistive technology device demonstrations and device loans for short term use along with coordinating training events across the state. He also has a particular interest in training individuals on the importance of web accessibility\, speech communication\, and computer ergonomics. DESCRIPTION:Therapeutic Justice Support Program is pleased to offer a two-day\, in-person onboarding training for Treatment Court Program Coordinators. This training is designed to provide new Program Coordinators with an opportunity to learn more about the Program Coordinator role\, responsibilities\, resources\, and expectations\, while also connecting with colleagues from across the state. This onboarding training will be offered semi-annually to provide an ongoing opportunity for new Program Coordinators to receive training and support as they begin their roles. \nAlthough the October training is intended primarily for new Program Coordinators\, we are also opening this training to current Program Coordinators who are interested in attending.
