DESCRIPTION:The Supreme Court of New Mexico launched a program in 2021 to help young people learn\nabout our system of justice and the role of courts in resolving legal disputes. The concept of the\nRule of Law Program was straightforward: We learn by observation. With that in mind\, the Court invites schools and students to participate in the sixth year of the Rule of Law Program by observing an oral argument in a criminal case on April 1 in Portales at Eastern New Mexico University. \nDeadline to RSVP to Ms. Tamara Mitchell at suptdm@nmcourts.gov is Monday\, March 30th at 5 p.m.
